In this brand new series on my channel I will take you on a Journey of discovery if you would on the very popular 5th generation Toyota 4runner expanding from 2010-2021. I will go over most of the major components of the 4runner so we can find out together what makes this truck ancient and what makes it reliable.

In the second part of this series we'll take a look at the A750 Toyota 4runner transmission. There are 2 main models the A750E and the A750F which came mated to the 1GR-FE engine.

This transmission traces Its roots to 2003 when the previous generation 4 runner came out. In this video we'll look at the history of this ancient 5 speed transmission. I'll also go briefly into the mechanical components of this transmission.

I'll focus a large part of this video on the electronics of this transmission showing you the location and look of the transmission solenoids in the valve body that control the electronic operation of this transmission.

In part 3 of this series I will take you on a Journey on the 5th generation 4runner and other Toyota trucks's 4WD system. How it works and why is it so reliable.
