This was a special time to see the entire family together on both the DSPS and also in the nest tree. E23 flies off the nest and lands right between Mom and Dad! M15 is on the left outside, E23 is in the middle and F23 on the right. What a beautiful family and this is a special treat to see them all together! 💕 E23 perches with them for about thirteen minutes before flying off towards the office oak.

As the sun started to set and cast a warm golden glow upon the nest tree, we find M15 on his spot - the U branch and E23 on the attic. E23 is sleepy from a day of flying and explorations - and keeps looking at Mom who is in the nest cleaning up food scraps :) . F23 will join them and we have the family together again for the second time! We all know that once F23 eats all the nestovers on the nest she is ready to fly to her roosting spot so she does take off and M15 will follow her for the night. E23 will head over to the U branch and take over Dad's spot and spend the night there! You have to really appreciate these family moments because E23 will leave to start its journey in a few short weeks. But for now, we have our precious eagle family to enjoy each day!
