After blowing the engine, it is time to upgrade!

We've recently put together a new engine for our STi Hatch Track Car and after 10,000 miles.. we BLEW it! Instead of putting in another stock engine, this time around we've decided to build it using forged internals. With the new forged engine the car is also going to see a huge turbo upgrade! Follow along our STi hatch build to find out what we do and it's life on the track.

In this video we perform a health check on the engine and go through the tear down proccess.

The pistons we plan to use for this EJ25 are JE 99.75 stroker pistons. These pistons will be paired with Manley forged rods that are +2mm longer than the original rods. Do not run these pistons or rods without doing research first.

The turbo we are upgrading to is a Dom 1.5XTR 10cm. This turbo rated for 480hp.
