When I was pitched Airbnb the moment I knew I wanted to do business with them was when they moved from their short pitch to their long pitch. Their short pitch was "eBay but for space," this was great because it was brief and made me think of how eBay is a great business, having sold them to PayPal. But what make Airbnb function as it's own business? That's where you transition to the long pitch where you identify risks and share them with your partner. The combination of these two with the relevant things that make it exciting while navigating a new world was something I took away from this pitch.
