Dancing by the Sea in Lauderdale by the Sea is a free event which runs twice monthly on the SECOND and FOURTH Sunday of each month. This FREE event usually takes place between October/November - May and has been operating for approximately 11 years.

Time: 17:00EST - 19:00EST (5:00pm/7:00pm).

PLEASE NOTE that if there are any weather conditions such as rain, (hurricanes or storms) then the event is cancelled due to health and safety concerns.

Danny Carter, a professional choreographer and is the dance teacher for this event. He is very courteous, well mannered and is always on hand to help those who require assistance with the dance steps. On occasions, he is assisted by fellow dance and fitness instructors pertaining to line-dancing.

There is also a resident DJ who plays various music genres but his main focus is Latin/Salsa.
