SNP leader and Scottish First Minister, Humza Yousaf, has announced his intention to resign today. He was not going to survive the confidence vote and has paid the price for his political ineptitude last week. The SNP now have a tricky task: appointing a leader who can be supported by two parties tidily to avoid damage in Westminster election year.
