Originally from Venezuela, Matecki is a single mother with an 11-year-old son who is going through puberty. She adopts a dog named Lupita so her son has a friend to play with.

Elon, an Israeli woman, owns a dog named Quds. She’s locked down with her rambunctious family: three rowdy boys and her partner. Quds becomes her timekeeper — a reminder of the years she has been an immigrant.

Their combined reflections draw a portrait of womanhood, motherhood, immigration and belonging. In an intimate, diary-like style that combines Matecki’s and Elon’s voices with fragments of their life under quarantine, the film explores memory and the notion of time as the children grow and change in front of their mothers' cameras.
