The plug-in hybrid range in the new Peugeot 508 is not short: there are three versions that can boast the DGT Zero label, with 180, 225 and 360 HP. Its 12.4 kWh lithium-ion battery provides up to 64 kilometers of electric range, which can go up to 73 km in the city.

In the case of the most powerful version, available exclusively for the 508 PSE, it has four-wheel drive: its electric range is 52 kilometers and it comes with a 7.4 kW on-board charger that is standard in this version and optional in the rest (3.7 kW base).

Pure electric technology in the Peugeot 508 will have to wait a few more years. The only thing certain is that, with the definitive arrival of this facelift of the current generation, everything we know from now on about the French sedan should be related to a more than likely E-508.

The only thing we know for sure is that Peugeot is not yet considering entering the D segment with this technology, so we still cannot rule out that the electric 508 will be delayed less than usual.
