Komatsu forklift does not want to accelerate to high RPM’s and has check engine light on.

I checked and troubleshooted:

- throttle body ( MAF sensor, intake pipes and hoses.

- checked for gas pressure

- checked electronic throttle body ( usually you can here it move and make a sound when you turn the key switch on or off)

- pulled the codes from my scanner. There’s a way to pull the codes.

- found damaged speed sensor and harness

- replaced MAF sensor and O2 sensor (according to the codes we pulled). The truck has 19,000 hours and they’ve never been replaced before.

- installed new speed sensor and turned the truck on to check for codes. All were erased. Said no codes found.

- truck now accelerates perfectly.
