My favorite memory as a child was sitting on the back porch with my family and watching the Arizona Monsoon storms roll in--it was like watching a 4th of July fireworks show! So for years I've wanted to film a monsoon, and this year the weather cooperated--and I had a compliment of CinemaScope lenses available! This was filmed July-October 2022.
