The Polestar 2 is Polestar’s second model, aptly titled the 2 it is the second model in the brands line-up. It launched last year to much acclaim as it offered a genuinely viable alternative in the premium EV market to the Tesla Model 3. It’s handling, quality and technology really do nail it, with a very trendy approach to car building, including features such as the vegan interior, like the model we tested here.
The Polestar 2 comes in Single Motor form or dual and is also available as a Standard or long range car, the former with the smaller battery. Priced from £39,900 this is the most affordable Polestar yet. There are three models and three add on packs as well as a number of accessories.
Tesla may have shown the world that going electric does not have to mean sacrificing comfort, performance or style and a tiny range between charges, with its latest Model 3 now dominating the market, however, this new Polestar 2 is definitely a like-for-like rival.
