We want to find out who the fastest YouTuber is. We’ve got a track, a car and a series of Gran Turismo style challenges.

Today we’ve got Mat Armstrong and Super GT. We were meant to have Alex Kersten with us, but he bailed last minute. So we had to get a substitute.

Each driver will need to complete 3 challenges and then finally do a lap of the track. We’re calling them the ‘Driven Media Licence Tests’.

Our Pro Driver, Scott, has a set a benchmark on each of these. He’ll go out with each YouTuber for 15 minutes beforehand for tuition and to learn the track.

This is the car. And it’s not reasonably priced - it’s a race car.

It’s a Caterham 420R - so 210 horsepower and just over 600 kilos in weight. It’s a proper race car for the road, no stability control, no traction control and semi slick tyres. It’s a handful.

That’s why Scott is going to be in the car, just to make sure these YouTubers don’t bin it.
