WHAT TO EXPECT AT DUBAI CROCODILE PARK

The Crocodile Park is the latest animal attraction to open in Dubai, where visitors can learn more about one of the biggest reptiles in the world. This one-of-its-kind park started welcoming visitors from April 18, 2023.

While we are waiting for more details about the upcoming park, guests can expect to find a museum highlighting the history and future of crocodiles, a lake-themed aquarium boasting African vibes and outdoor landscaped areas.

Native to freshwater bodies and mangrove swamps in sub-Saharan Africa, male Nile crocodiles can grow up to six metres long and weigh almost 750kg! Female crocodiles, on the other hand, can reach lengths of up to 3.8 metres and weigh over 300 kg.

Over 250 Nile crocs (babies and adults) can now call Crocodile Park in Dubai their home. Tarryn Clare, the exhibit curator, is excited to welcome curious crocodile enthusiasts to the facility.

The park offers an immersive environment where guests can marvel at the majestic crocodiles while learning about their fascinating biology, evolution, and survival.

The Dubai Crocodile Park aims not only to entertain but also to educate visitors about crocodiles and their importance in the ecosystem.
The park offers educational talks and interactive sessions conducted by knowledgeable experts, providing valuable insights into the behavior, habitats, and conservation efforts concerning these reptiles.
It also houses a historical museum that highlights the evolution of crocodilians and the unique adaptations that allowed them to survive the extinction of the dinosaurs.
Through these initiatives, visitors gain a deeper appreciation for the crocodile's ecological significance and the need for their conservation.

The Dubai Crocodile Park aims to provide a holistic experience for its visitors. In addition to the captivating crocodile exhibits, the park features a gift shop where guests can purchase African artifacts and souvenirs.
The park also houses two dining destinations – Okavango Terrace, a relaxed, family-friendly African lodge terrace, and Okavango Room, a sophisticated and refined dining room.
