The original Xbox Live was truly special. Maybe it was the countless hours spent in Halo 2 or how revolutionary the service was for its time.

In 2010, it was shut down, but thanks to the incredible work done by the Insignia Team, we can now replay over 100+ OG XBL games in 2024.


In today's video, i will be giving you a brief history on the OG XBL, The impact Halo 2 had on its online service, using the Insignia service,
Testing a few games using it and asking the community why they still play XBL 1.0 well into 2024.


Insignia has brought back plenty of Xbox OG titles back online as well. Games like Phantasy Star Online 1 & 2, Call of Duty series, Counter Strike, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Splinter Cell Pandora's Tomorrow, Area 51 just to name a few. They're also working on getting Halo 2 back online to!
