Hiro Yanagida (born May 7, 1949) is a Japanese keyboard player. Along with Shigeru Naruke and Kousei Mizutani, he supported the early days of Japanese rock.

history
1966 - Formed The Floral with Tadashi Kosaka and others through auditions held by the Japan branch of the Monkees Fan Club. He initially played lead guitar, but began playing the organ under the influence of Ray Manzarek of The Doors.
1968 - Released two singles as The Floral while attending Rissho University.
1969 - Haruomi Hosono and Rei Matsumoto (Takashi Matsumoto) join The Floral. The band name is April Fools. Disbanded after releasing "APRYL FOOL". Joined the Eddie clan group.
1970 - Formed Food Brain with Hiro Tsunoda and Nobuteru Chen. Recorded the soundtrack for the movie "Shinjuku Mad" directed by Koji Wakamatsu (bass: Keiki Ishikawa). Disbanded after the release of "Supper" (Bass: Louise Louise Kabe). Announced 1st “MILK TIME”.
1971 - Formed LOVE LIVE LIFE, led by Kosuke Ichihara (saxophone), became LLL+ONE with Akira Fuse, and released "LOVE WILL MAKE A BETTER YOU". Announced 2nd “HIRO YANAGIDA”. Hiro Yanagida Group will replace Happy End as Nobuyasu Okabayashi's backing band.
1972 - Released ``The Adventures of the Pirate Kid'' under the name Sons of Sun. Announced his 3rd "HIRO". Hiro Yanagida Group will serve as Takuro Yoshida's backing band.
1973 - Hiro Yanagida Group serves as the backing band for Takuro Yoshida, Garo, Billy Bang Bang, and Jiro Sugita. 4th “HIROCOSMOS” announced. Komuro and others formed Shinrokumonsen with Takuro Yoshida and others.
2003 - Formed the duo unit MA-YA with Kousei Mizutani and released "Uki".
Since then, he has also written and arranged many original songs for commercials.
2010 - Started live support for Yuko Kawamura with Tatsuya Maeda.
2011 - Produced Yuko Kawamura's "Love Changes to You". She is in charge of all songs and arrangements.
