How A Regular Guy Imported A Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R Into The US LEGALLY, and how you can too!
The Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R is the most widely lusted after JDM car in the United States...largely because it's been forbidden fruit for ages. For over a decade, you could only own it legally if you found one of a handful of Motorex-imported examples that made it in years ago. More recently you could get one imported but only with the help of certain companies and a crapton of cash and patience as it made its way through an obscure and convoluted legalization process.

I've dreamed of owning an R34 GT-R since I was a kid and a couple of months ago I finally made that dream come true by importing one pretty much on my own. This video summarizes the process of the importation and I hope it can be helpful, informative, and inspirational to fellow GT-R fans!
