This is a great illustration of three athletes with three slightly different hang clean strategies. Our goal is to move weight fast and move weight safely. I think all three accomplish this. Often Olympic lifters ( and /or their coaches) will criticize/ critique our technique but people need to remember that our athletes spend about 20-24 minutes per WEEK on these lifts. Our goal is to reap the benefits of exercises like hang cleans and hang snatches, not to teach the sport of Olympic weightlifting.
