Mundari Demo Session

This is a demo session recorded during Coke Studio season 4 in 2010 for the track Mundari. This is the preparatory process making this recording a test of our concept. Saami Saheb’s emotive delivery and body language brings this groovy session to life, and is a masterclass in itself for using the body for energetic vocal delivery.

His openness to technology, but commitment to old world craft is seen in his expressions; the eye-contact he makes with with the team during the recording, and as he takes off the headphones, at the end of the track. We look forward to further investigating this experiment, and sharing with audiences and music makers on our Youtube Community, the creative exchange between Saami Saheb and the CS team.
