Everyone loves SUVs, so the new 2022 Genesis GV70 Sport Plus AWD with the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 should be the brands next big thing. We take a look!

Over the past few months we've had the pleasure of driving many of the new vehicles in the Genesis lineup, and this 2022 Genesis GV70 3.5T Sport Plus is the final vehicle in their currently fleet that we hadn't driven up until now. This compact luxury crossover comes very well equipped with this top-end sport trim giving buyers some serious performance for a competitive price. The Sport Plus comes with the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine we've tested in the larger GV80 SUV and G80 mid-size sedan but in a smaller form factor. A vehicle like this would compete well against the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43, BMW X3 M40i, or Audi SQ5.

We go over the specifications for this Genesis GV70 including Canadian and US pricing, along with how this vehicle compares to the other Genesis vehicles we've driven recently. We go over the important tech features on this along with the unique Himalayan Grey paint mixed with the Ultramarine Blue quilted Nappa leather seating.

We take this GV70 on a real world road test to go over how this vehicle performs, drives, handles, and rides on a daily driving basis, along with some of our experiences with this vehicle testing it for a week. Ultimately we try to decide if you should buy this vehicle over the German luxury competition, or the other vehicles in the Genesis vehicle lineup.
