Here is full coverage of the World's first public display of the BBMF Lancaster and RAF Typhoon "Blackjack" doing a fitting tribute to the 617sqn. "Dambusters" raids of WWII

This is from the Midlands Air Festival 2023 at Ragley Hall.

The Typhoon and Lancaster have done a flypast before (with the 3 BBMF types) - and this can be seen on my video "Lancaster - After the Fire"    • AFTER THE FIRE: THE LANCASTER'S RETUR...   on AIRSHOWVISION channel, but this is more comprehensive.

Apart from the special sequence of the two aircraft, there follows a full display of the Typhoon aircraft the now legendary "Blackjack" aircraft, again the first public performance flown by Flt. Lt. Matthew Brighty.

The 2023 RAF Typhoon display features - for the very first time on a UK Typhoon jet, a slow roll, which has been mysteriously absent from the British display (running ever since 2005). A very welcome addition indeed!

I was sad to see the trademark negative G pass missing this year, as it was my favourite manoeuver, but there are some nice things here, which I will highlight later.

The finale was weak in this display, but I hope this was due to airspace restrictions and will be dealt with by the time we get to Cleethorpes in 2 weeks - the perfect venue for fast jet displays. #phoontime
