This week we take a before and after look at the Studio Projects C1 mic using the @MicParts (MicParts.com) mod. This mod makes the frequency response of the C1 closer to that of the Neumann U87AI... just with a little more bottom end. We show the full build and try out the mic on voice, piano, guitar and bass.

Just to note. The mod for the early versions of the mic increases sensitivity and decreses self noise.

The voice over of the entire video is done using the modded C1 directly into the camera. The build segment is the modded C1 into a UA LA610 pre with some compression.
