Project 001: Building a Bolens lawn mower with motorcycle engine.
I bought a cheap Kawasaki kz550ltd, took out the engine and replaced it in a lawn mower. I got the lawn mower from my friend because the regular engine was broken. The purpose of this mission was to see if it was possible to do an engine-switch in my workshop. To do this, I had to make a lot of homemade parts. The engine would then increase from 15 to 55 horse power. I used complete engine- and electronic from a Kawasaki kz550LTD, and the pedals is taken out of a Volvo 740. Sprocket and chain is from a Yamaha yzf 450, hydraulic handbrake from eBay, brakes hose from a gsxr 750, fuel tank from another smaller lawn mower, and all the metal parts from Pedersen Sveis og Maskinering, and of course some difference parts from eBay and Wish.
