In "The Hardest Day in Federal Prison," I discuss a realization that may surprise many: the hardest day is not the first day in federal prison but a specific moment after settling in. For me, that date was June 8th, 2008, around 11:30 am, when it hit me that this would be my life for a while. The first few weeks might fly by as you adjust, but at some point, reality kicks in.

In this video, I share insights and encourage prisoners to assess their adjustment in prison, ensuring that their choices on the inside relate to the lives they want to live after federal prison.
