This week we're covering Roland's first all digital synthesizer, their Linear Arithmetic D-50. Eric Persing, creator of Spectrasonics Omnisphere created many of the presets along with Adrian Scott. This synth is so popular it was re-released by Roland in boutique form as the D-05.

This month we'll be covering 5 epic Roland synths from the eighties, the Roland U-20 RS-PCM keyboard, the Roland D-50 Linear Arithmetic or LA synthesizer, the JX-3P Analog synthesizer, the sister synth of the beloved Juno 106, the JD-800, possibly the greatest digital synth of all time, and finally the JP-8000, the most controversial virtual analog synth infamous for introducing the world to the supersaw sound!
