Like clockwork, you can count on seeing posts on social media of people on the side of the road with trailer issues every year leading up to popular events like King of the Hammers and Easter Jeep Safari. Harry Wagner has been fortunate enough to avoid that situation (knock on wood deck) for the 15 years that he has owed this 18-foot Big Tex trailer. It isn’t luck though, there have been a lot of modifications and maintenance during that time to ensure that the car hauler gets my vehicles safely to his destination. Those include, by aren’t limited to, custom tie down points, quality straps, covering the tires when not in use, TPMS sensors, and adding a winch to the front of the trailer.

All of that, and the same regularly maintenance that all of Harry’s vehicles benefit from. In this video Harry sits down with his longtime friend Merl, who has seen and done it all over the span of his long career working on trailers. Merl shares stories from the craziest things he has seen, and the most common issues and mistakes trailer owners make.
