I am so excited to start working with clay with my 8th grade classes! However I was NOT excited about the prices that came with buying clay!

Luckily I had over 200 lbs of completely bone dry clay hidden in my cabinets that I found while cleaning out the classroom during the summer.

The art of education university had a fantastic article that helped me with the process of rehydrating my blocks of bone dry clay! And I am happy to say I now have enough clay for all of my students and I didn’t have to buy any of it!
