Hazrat Salman Al Farisi (RA) was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad (saw). He was the first Persian to get converted into Islam. The Prophet was very close to this sahabi, and was considered as a family to Him. Salman was born in Persia to a very rich family. His ancestors were very wealthy as well.
