Believe it or not, the Honda Civic is now in its 11th generation. But this time around, the small car is quite different in more ways than one.
In Australia, the option of a four-door sedan is gone, with the five-door hatchback soldiering on alone, looking to cater to those on both sides of the fence.
But the even bigger news is the single, highly specified grade the new Civic is launching with. Shockingly, there is no entry-level or mid-range option here.
It offers an alternative to high-grade versions of the Volkswagen Golf, Mazda 3 and Toyota Corolla, but on price it's actually playing against the Audi A3, BMW 1 Series and Mercedes A-Class!
So, is the latest Civic worth paying a premium for?
