Letica Stauch was the Colorado Springs woman who was convicted of murdering her 11-year-old stepson, Gannon, when on January 27, 2020. Two days after this interrogation on February 1st she rented a van, stuffed him in a suitcase, drove 1,367 miles to Florida, and threw the suitcase off a bridge and into the bay. During the trial, she tried to get out of it by bogusly pleading not guilty by reason of insanity claiming that one of her alternate personalities was the one who committed the murder, but the jury didn’t buy it.

At this point here, she was just a person of interest. So, the police asked her to come in for a “voluntarily” interview to hopefully find Gannon.
