The monoclonal antibodies made headlines as a method of treating the coronavirus patients after they were administered on the former President of the United States, Donald Trump in 2020 after the president was tested positive for COVID-19. Monoclonal antibodies got emergency approval in India from the Central Drugs Standards Control Organisation in early May.
