The Expanse season 6 has finished filming and this video discusses what that means for the release date. We also know that the final novel in the Expanse series “Leviathan Falls” has been delivered to the publisher, and should be available before the end of the year. James SA Corey will be writing one more Expanse novella that will be included in the collection “Memory’s Legion”.

No book spoilers in this video.

The big question on everyone’s mind is whether the show will continue after the sixth and final season on Amazon airs. There’s been talk of interest in continuing the story and thinking of it as a pause rather than a cancellation. Next season will be an adaptation of “Babylon’s Ashes”, and fans know that there are three more books with the Rocinante crew after that.

In this video, we discuss options for future adaptations. Some Expanse fans are hoping for a trilogy of movies, and some are hoping for three more seasons of the television series. We talk about the different possibilities and statements that Alcon has made about creating spin-offs or prequels. Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck will be collaborating on a far-future sci-fi trilogy, but that won’t be related to the Expanse universe.
