Is your Symphony making a knocking sound whenever the steam trigger is depressed and no steam comes out? Perhaps this is the remedy!

(- Take foot off of vacuum
- Use a thin, blunt point like a paper clip and gently poke around the inside of the black steam outlet to dislodge any possible debris
- Remove filter located below water reservoir. Add a bit of water to the reservoir if it's empty. Using the tip of a ballpoint pen, press the black hole located next to the vacuum chamber's outer tube. If water flows out, the passage is clear.
- Replace filter and check if the vacuum produces steam again.)
- If not, call customer service. Good luck! :)
