Rolls-Royce presented the first Spectre electric car.
The British brand Rolls-Royce presented a fully electric two-door coupe Specter, which can travel more than 500 kilometers on a single charge.

The manufacturer calls "Spectre" the world's first ultra-luxury electric super coupe - and also the ideological heir of the two-door Phantom, which, unlike the sedan, never survived the change of generations.

From the point of view of design, the battery novelty is not too different from current gasoline models, and it is built on the same "Luxury Architecture" - that's how the company calls the company's aluminum frame.

At the same time, Spectre still has a number of unique features. For example, particularly narrow main optics and the widest radiator grill in the history of the brand with illumination from 22 LEDs.
A special version of the "Spirit of Ecstasy" figure towers above the latter, designed specifically for electric vehicles and optimized from the point of view of aerodynamics. It, among other things, helped to achieve a record coefficient of frontal resistance for the brand - only 0.25.

Among the unusual features of the interior are the option of Starlight Doors (door illumination, made by analogy with the "starry sky" on the ceiling and consisting of 4,796 diodes), front seats and a screen installed in front of the front passenger.

According to preliminary data (there are no others yet), the return of the Rolls-Royce Specter power plant will be 585 hp. and 900 Nm. The electric car will reach the first "hundred" in 4.5 seconds, and the range on one charge will be 520 km according to the WLTP cycle or 418 km according to the stricter EPA methodology.

In terms of price positioning, the Spectre will be located somewhere between the Cullinan and the Phantom. At the same time, it is known that by the end of the current decade, Rolls-Royce intends to completely switch to the production of electric cars.
