I was not expecting this in Jakarta, Indonesia. The streets were very safe and filled with so much delicious street food!

This was my first time on the streets of Jakarta at night. I was ready to explore this magnificent city. Despite what some people had told me about Jakarta it seemed pretty safe and lovely walking around at night, with plenty of street food.

I had heard that there was a food street behind the Grand Indonesia Mall, so I decided to set off on my journey and go and check it out! I was quite hungry!

The first snack of the night was a tasty dimsum hagie. It was my first time to try this interesting Indonesian street food, the price was very affordable and I loved the sauce that was on top.

I found a nice seat outside of a Alfamart, to tuck into my street food snacks that I was eating throughout the night. After some not so bad steak and chips I tried probably my most favourite Indonesian snack which is Silver Queen! I love this delicious chocolate!

The teh botol I chose wasn't that great, just tasted like water really. But I think I chose a zero sugar one.

After that I had a quick tour inside the Grand mall of Indonesia.

I then enjoyed a chocolate crepes, it was a bit dry. I wasn't really a fan of it. Maybe I should have added some more sauces.

After that I enjoyed some Takoyaki balls and found a nice place to sit down near the MRT station. A singer came by and played a nice song, so I decided to give him a little tip. The song he sang was quite good! I really enjoyed it!

A thunderstorm was quickly approaching so I had to run and find shelter in a McDonalds, where I had my final snack and tried some Indonesian Uduk.

After all those snacks and street food I made my way back to the hotel for a quick workout in the hotel gym.

Explore the streets of Jakarta at night, were very safe and interesting. I was quite impressed! I was really not expecting it to be this good.
