The Volvo XC60 Recharge is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) with the automaker's signature blend of styling, luxury and performance. We think that on a luxury vehicle such as this the main reason for having a PHEV is not short-range electric motoring to save money on fuel, but to get more than 400 horsepower from a relatively frugal powertrain.
