It’s Round 2 of The Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup, and things are starting to get intense. Rivalries are forming, as the riders get into the thick of the season. Every race, every corner counts now. Strategies change, as amateur and pros alike try to get themselves to the top of the points table. The fight is ON.

The Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup: 8 races, 25 riders - 15 amateurs and 10 professional racers - speed around the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore, riding identical race-prepped versions of the iconic Royal Enfield Continental GT-R650. The Continental GT Cup is a one-make race format that goes back to the roots of motorcycle racing. Inspired by the purist racing culture of the 1960s, the bikes are devoid of any electronic rider aids to ensure that the only thing separating the winners from everyone else is pure riding skill. The Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup prides itself on being one of the most accessible motorcycle races in India. With bike racing culture on the rise, this three part episodic series hopes to help inspire biking enthusiasts to think about racing as a viable future.
