In this episode, we cruise out to Hover Park Off-Road in the 1-Ton Jeep WJ with a Polaris Rzr, Can-Am Maverick & Artic Cat Wild Cat. Hover Park is located in Finley, WA, and is a really fun place to cruise around and explore. It's close to home and in 30 minutes, I can be there and wheeling for a short day trip adventure. This comes in handy when you still have to use the Jeep as the grocery getter and be home in time to hangout with the family. I'll say it again, having a built rig that is tail ready, and off-road capable but still functions as a daily driver, does highway speeds, and handles great around town, is the best!

The rain made the landscape a bit more challenging and fun. Since this region is a desert environment, the soil is often loose and sandy, especially during the hot, dry Summer months. It’s also right on the shore of the Columbia River. While this area has a lot of sand, it also has a lot of rugged volcanic rock, called basalt. It’s a short jagged type of rock that when the tires hook, it grabs.

Had a great day cruising around with everyone. Actually, found some stuff that looked like it could get pretty challenging if I ran the Durango up it once it was complete but wasn’t something I felt comfortable doing, or thought the Grand Cherokee was really capable of doing.
