Filmmaker and actor Shekhar Kapur has a lot of thoughts about the evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) in Indian cinema. His debut Indian film, Masoom (1983), followed a woman's journey towards accepting a child born out of her husband's extramarital affair. For the sequel to this emotional film, Kapur decided to experiment with AI tool ChatGPT.
The BBC's Devang Shah talks to the award-winning director about his experience and the impact AI may have on the future of the entertainment industry in India.
