This trip we visited Wekiva Falls RV Resort in Sorrento, FL. We had a 3 night trip planned. I will say we were happy with our site location (#452) however we are finding out that we prefer more of the State Parks over these RV park set ups. The amenities are nice and we enjoy having a pool and "extras" but we like to RV to be in nature which sometimes there isn't as much of in RV parks. Anyhow, we did luck out with an end unit as we were not able to pick our site location on their online booking system. So not having a neighbor on our awning side was nice. They also have nice concrete pads set up with a picnic table on your site. The actual swimming lagoon was much darker (murky) than we expected but it had been raining quite a bit prior to our visit. The water sits at a chilly 73-74 temp year round! Burr... a little too cold for me (the mama...which is why I'm not in this video much haha). The kids however had a wonderful time and despite a small "mishap" with Mike's Oakley's and Mackenzie having a small melt down about a "monster gator" that she swore was going to eat her, we had a great time! I wont lie or embellish, it wont be a park we return to only because it's not our style of camping but if you enjoy RV parks you might enjoy stopping by this one!
