I fixed my saggy rear end due to worn out springs. The rear only had 1.5” inches of wheel well gap. I installed MOOG CC865 Springs ($70), and that restored factory ride height at 2.5” inches of wheel well gap. Then I installed Monroe Load Adjusting Shocks 58628 ($110) 1997-2003 F-150, and that lifted an additional 1.5” inches for a total of 4” inches of wheel well gap. No modifications required, and ride quality is unchanged. I did this on both my 2004 Crown Vic, and 2010 MGM. For $180 I’m a happy camper, and I should have done this years ago. The best part of this “mod” is when I load 300lbs. in the trunk, it only drops ¾” of an inch. You can see that here;    • F-150 Shocks - 300lbs In Trunk

Before I installed the F-150 shocks, (with only the MOOG Springs) loading 300lbs. in the trunk dropped the rear back to 1.5” of wheel well gap. You can see that here;    • Factory Ride Height - 300lbs In Trunk

The shock mounting hardware is needed because they are not included with the shocks because they are intended to be installed on a 1997-2003 F-150, and those have the standard “narrow” bottom mount. Panther Cars have the “wide” bottom mount. Or you can use ½” inch washers like this; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...
