The Paseo was supposed to be the sporty version of the Tercel. The reality was there was not a sporty bolt in its body. Yes, it had a little more power and a stiffer suspension, but that was it. That said, it was a fun drive that loved to understeer its way through a corner. It was all part of the charm that made the Paseo what it was — a no-nonsense runabout that went on to have a great track record.
