U.S.-China economic relations have been the center of attention for multiple stakeholders as strategic competition has become a core element of the overall relationship. Yet, at the same time, U.S. and Chinese business interests have a huge financial stake in the other's economy. This panel featured:

- Evan Medeiros (moderator), the Penner Family Chair in Asian Studies at the School of Foreign Service and senior fellow with the Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues at Georgetown University.
