A civilian male was crossing West E St in the crosswalk when the male driver of a Federal Police SUV struck him. The Federal Officer stopped immediately and rendered 1st Aid to the victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The traffic lights are flashing for eastbound W. E St, but no traffic light works on 1st Ave heading northbound. SDPD is investigating.
