My "Over the Shoulder" videos are longer and less edited videos of me working on actual projects. This video marks the beginning of a new animation project featuring a novel mechanism I saw in this video (   • Singularity-Free Kinematically Redund...  ) then recreated using Fusion 360 and imported into iClone. Thanks to iClone's physics engine, I was able to make this actually function.

At any rate, in this video I start to set up the space where the animation will take place. I'm converting a warehouse space over to something like the storage area for a college science or robotics department. The animation itself will feature an aerobic dancer / gymnast who finds this room while looking for a place to dance. After she accidentally replaces its programing CD with her own music CD, the robot begins to dance to the music. Eventually, they work out a routine between the two of them.

Things covered in this video include separating multi-part objects that have been imported from Daz Studio, Some character tweaking, setting a terrain and character foot contact, lots of prop manipulation, and some swearing.
