On April 11, 2023, the Ronald H. Filler Institute for Financial Services Law and Women in Derivatives (WIND) co-sponsored a special program on financial services law at New York Law School. WIND Board Member Marisol Collazo introduced attendees to the organization and their mission, and she introduced the first panel on navigating bank distress.

The panel featured Brandon M. Hammer, Counsel, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP; Angie Karna, Managing Director, Head of Global Markets Legal (Americas), Nomura Securities; and Sachiyo Sakemi, Managing Director, Global Head of Trading Coverage, BlackRock. Deborah North, Partner at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP moderated.
