This is an easily made off-grid outdoor heating system that really works, all the parts except the circulation pump were free. Do not try this at home, this is just for entertainment purposes. Please continue to watch, this is not just a basic heating system, it actually has multiple functions. This is just a test setup, so things will need to be upgraded, there is a lot more to the system that I don't show in this video, like the heater core from a car, and the fans, etc. The heater is an open system, so no steam pressure is allowed to build up at any time. I burn scrap wood, branches, wood chips/shavings, or cardboard in this unit for free heat. The old gas hot water heater and electric heater were curbside-free finds. This is a very simple design, no welding is necessary if a wide metal strap is put between the two tanks and bolted, so the tank on the top doesn't slide off. I know this project looks rough, it's just an experiment, also the tank has been sitting out for years and has rusted, I wasn't able to paint due to cold weather. This heating system has three functions, Heat, makes charcoal and creates wood gas for running an internal combustion engine for electricity. I know there are many videos on YT showing heating systems like candles with clay pots or oil burners with wicks, unfortunately, those heating ideas are not practical. It takes a large amount of heat to heat an RV or trailer at temps below freezing. This system heats the RV perfectly when temps are many degrees below freezing, and there are no flames or fumes inside of the camper or tiny home. In this video I'm just showing a test of the boiler, many things would need to be upgraded for this to be a more permanent system. The garden hoses need to be replaced with pex pipe and insulated, the pump needs to be mounted properly and covered, and the entire unit should be enclosed, I will make improvements when possible and repost a video. The circulation pump cost around 50$ at the time of purchase.

I'm sorry I haven't been making much content lately because of personal reasons and also I have been working on a recent opportunity that came up months ago. I will be making new videos soon and hoping to incorporate some of the things I have been working on for the last six months, I also built another electric bike and will share it soon.
Take Care

Do Not try this at home, this video is just for entertainment purposes, the hot water tank is fully vented at all times, and no steam is allowed to build up, also when making charcoal the tank is always vented and carefully maintained as the process goes on. I never recommend building any of these projects, just buy a certified system, this may only be useful in a (The Road) movie type situation.
