We are doing body work and learning to paint in this video. I sprayed primer with a gun for the first time, a little kitty hair Bondo and patience goes a long way. Had to do a lot of blocking and sanding but I'm really happy with how it turned out. Next video I'm hoping to get the chance to spray the color.

Welcome to the channel, I hope yall are excited as I am to build the ultimate tow pig! Its fitting because its pink! Don't get me wrong pulling and hauling with a nice late model pick up has its benefits but it's not nearly as cool or as fun as piling 6 deep in a 4-door hard top Cadillac and heading to the racetrack or some even with your junky racecar / streetcar in tow. Back in the day and up until I'd guess late 70s folks still flat towed hotrods or used a trailer but pulled in with the family car and sometimes something really cool like a corvette or another hotrod. For 4 years I have been wanting to build a Caddy to tow with and the best years for Cadillac were 59/60 in my opinion. I wanted a 4-door hardtop so everyone could tag along. If you missed the last video where we rescued this beautiful1960 Cadillac Series 62 4 door sedan from North Carolina after checking it out on Power Tour 2023. Stopped by an awesome fellas house and got to meet Rob and see his awesome collection. I saved a picture of his 1960 Cadillac towing a 1958 Corvette gasser with a blown LS to the racetrack. I saw a picture of his cars 4 years ago and have wanted to build one ever since. So back to the caddy.... if you're going to build the ultimate tow pig then it needs a diesel, right? What's the best diesel on the market for reliability and simplicity? CUMMINS! The 12 valve Cummins 5.9 is the best on the market. I happened to get a good buy on a junky 1996 Dodge Ram 3500 2wd a couple years ago with a built automatic and a turned up 5.9 12 valve Cummins. So, we have a great donor for the motor and transmission, which believe is a 47 RE. I hope to stuff that motor and trans in the caddy and keep it under the hood. Wide whitewall tires and slam it on the ground with air bags. I will build a trailer hitch to hide behind the license plate and pull our car trailer with. Will have to get that @poppyspatina gloss clear coat to wipe the caddy down with!
