Steve Roest, CEO of PocDoc and host of the HealthTech Hour this week speaks to Sean Ruane, CEO and Founder of Mind Data.

An emotional rollercoaster of a show, starting of with Sean's openness around his own mental health breakdown and suicidal thoughts and how a simple phrase around purpose and external circumstance brought him to clarity about his mission - to help 1 million people from having the same mental health crisis he did and prevent thousands of people taking their own lives.

His company, Mind Data addresses the shortcomings in face to face therapy that come from recency bias (only talking about things that happened most recently, ignoring the larger, more important things that happened longer ago), the fact that busy therapists don't have time to review notes or understand prior to a session what their patient has been experiencing in between sessions, leading to a situation where the first 10/15 minutes is dedicated to the therapist "catching up".
