the original GMC Syclone and Typhoon had several features that made them unique, but one critical feature my 2nd gen syclone was lacking on the interior was a floor shifted transmission. While GM never installed a floor shifter in an automatic S-10 truck, luckily the junkyard has the answer if you know where to look. For me, the correct donor was a 4-door S-10 blazer and Oldsmobile Bravada.
