Episode three of our low-buck 6.0L LS buildup begins with the installation of new cam bearings—along the way we show you a nifty tool that makes that job easier too. With the cam in and happy, we bolt on the rear cover and main seal, then move up front to install an upgraded timing set. Then we give you a closer look at the specially-clearanced oil pan we’re using—because, if you recall, this LS is (GASP!) going into a vintage Ford truck, which means it needs to clear the truck’s front crossmember. Give this video a looksee and you’ll get a good idea of how this build will turn out.
